Directions for Thursday 4/3/08

To day you have two assignments.

1. First I have put a video in the shared folder (keyboarding-word) the video is called "one page"

2. You will need headphones out of the closet to watch the video, Follow along and try to get your album letter on one page.

3. On the lectern there is a letter that you will be typing today save the new letter as "entertainment" and be sure to use the full block format with your personal letterhead.

If you finish both of these assignments you may have free time.

Directions for Week of 02/26-02/29

Tuesday

Your Assignment for today will be to add the pinky finger letters to your Wheel Method Power Point. You will be adding 3 slides today.

Slide info
1st slide- Title(Left hand Pinky Finger) Include letters with arrows (aqz)

2nd slide- Title (Right hand Pinky Finger) Include letters with arrows (;p/?) you may also put a shift button in this slide)

3rd slide- Title ( third and fourth Finger Words) Include works using only third and fourth finger letters. You should not include words that you already used. insert some pictures that go with your words.Make use of custom animation, word art, and slide transitions

If you finish, work in microtype please.

Wednesday-Thursday

Waiting Room Project (MS Paint)
We have all been to waiting rooms at the dentist or the doctor. What is in a waiting room? Using Microsoft paint your are to design a waiting room layout. Design your waiting room as if you are looking at it from above. DO NOT USE CLIP ART OR PICTUES EVERYTHING MUST BE DRAWN USING THE TOOLS IN PAINT.

Your waiting room should include at least the items below but you can add more.
Bathroom
Seating for the patients
A desk for the reception person (what is on a desk? Computer, Phone etc…)
Refreshments (water food)
A fish tank
Table with magazines

This is only the minimum be creative and think what else is in a waiting room. I have provided an example of a layout below.

Friday- Scavenger Hunt on the Web

If you finish your waitting room project you can start the web scavanger hunt. Test your search skill by finding the information provided in the hunt.

The questions can be found in the student shared folder. Open the file and save it to your network drive name it "Scavenger Hunt"
